Reviews

“Anders is an incredibly skillful practitioner. The massage was so smooth, nurturing and enjoyable. I felt him attuning to me before, during and after the session to provide a safe and welcoming space of all that I was bringing in that day. He’s a real one! Highly recommend.”

“I haven't felt as relaxed in such a long time. After the session, I went home and slept till the next day. Since then, my insomnia has improved drastically and I am no longer up during the night. I loved the session so much.”

Courses

After many years of teaching I believe in the importance of sharing the knowledge and skills that we learn in life. Within western culture there is often a lack of positive physical contact outside our romantic relationships. In these courses I aim to share the possibilities of connection through a healing and intentional touch between individuals, couple, partners, family and friends.

My Journey

Growing up surrounded by musicians, dancers and movers, I have couldn’t help but build a keen sense of the needs of the body. The way in which each aspect flowed together with each other fascinated me.

I wanted to find a way to explore this, working with the fluid nature of our bodies, shaping a healing flow of movement, sound and energy.

Whether studying bodywork or creating music, I could never avoid the interconnectedness of all things. Each part of us is linked to another equally important process.

Within our bodies this can be as simple as a foot injury that is causing discomfort in the lower back and tracking up to the shoulder and within our wider life, this could be a community that is linked and connected, supporting one another throughout the waves of life.

Both aspects are as vital as the other and therefore a holistic approach is needed.

I have always found the power of combined focus while creating and performing music. I wanted to discover how to draw this energy into a bodywork practice.

During this exploration I found my way to Dynamic Thai Yoga Massage and Wuo Tai (osteo-dance.) These practices are focused on restoring balance throughout whole body, incorporating the fluidity of music and dance into their delivery. They are highly restorative and offer a deep relaxation, reseting the connective tissues and muscles.

The final piece left for me was to find the way to connect and share these in a way that others could bridge the gap as well. This led to the idea of hosting multi-discipline retreats, combining massage, movement and music across Scotland and further afield.

I look forward to sharing them with you.
